GUNFLINT PINES LAKE HOME VACATION RENTAL
This cedar log home is set on 250 feet of private shoreline at the east end of the Gunflint Pines property. The open-concept kitchen/living/dining area has a large granite fireplace at the center of the cabin. The windows across the front overlook the large deck to the lake. The cabin offers Wi-Fi, and Roku streaming device a charcoal grill, and a private deck overlooking Gunflint Lake.
With its own shoreline and dock, this is our most secluded, private accommodation. Cozy for a couple, it can sleep up to 7 people.
This cabin is available in the summer months (Memorial Day to Labor Day) for weekly rentals beginning on Saturdays; shorter rentals are available in the spring or fall with a 3-night minimum.
This cabin is packed with local history! It was built in 1971 for Charlotte Merrick (friend of legendary “Woman of the Boundary Waters,” Justine Kerfoot) as a Northwoods escape. It boasts a 9.5-foot hand-split granite fireplace built by local craftsman Herb White. Its cedar log construction is what most people envision when they think “Northwoods cabin.”
